6th-8th Grade

Middle School ministry at Resurrection is focused on meeting the students where they are with a real, relevant, fun, and Biblically-sound Wednesday night experience that invites them to go deeper in their faith. Our goal is to provide a safe place for teens to learn more about the God who loves them and created them, Jesus who died for them, and that they were created to impact and serve the world for good.
Weekly on Wednesday nights with a youth dinner from 5:45-6:15pm followed by worship & small groups from 6:15-7:45pm.
  • September 15 through December 15 (no programming November 24)
  • January 5 through May 25 (no programming April 13)
What to Expect
Wednesday night youth ministry is jam-packed with good stuff. Middle schoolers are encouraged to arrive at 5:45pm to eat dinner and enjoy some time to connect with friends before the night begins. As dinner wraps up, teens move into the Worship Center to start the night with worship, a message, prayer, and some fun of course! After that, the students move into grade specific small groups to discuss the night’s topic, share connections to real life, and go a bit deeper.
Serving others is a HUGE part of our youth program. Our students will be serving on Wednesday nights AND Sunday mornings as Faithful Servants (ushers, greeters), tech, and helpers in Pathfinders Sunday School throughout the year. In addition, students will participate in We Serve Wednesdays where we all teens work on a service project with their small group.
