PreK – 5th Grade

Pathfinder Kids is a fun, engaging time for kids to connect with God and each other. Designed to meet kids where they are, each week is filled with lively worship, exciting games, crafts, service projects, and Bible stories that hold kid’s attention and grow their faith. Our goal is to give all kids a solid foundation of faith and knowledge of God.

Pathfinder Kids is offered during both the 9:00am and 10:30am worship times year-round.
Pathfinders Sunday School is now available year round. Kids can always head down the Ministry Center on Sunday mornings, no matter what day or month it is!

What to Expect

Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of Pathfinder Kids to check-in at the station in the Gathering Place. We use a computerized check-in system that issues a name tag and security number for each child attending Pathfinder Kids.
Once checked-in kids can come down to the KidZone and start having fun! KidZones are located down the Ministry Hallway and are where the kids spend the first 15-20 minutes of the hour playing air hockey, shooting hoops, and just hanging out with friends. The rest of the hour is spent with other kids in their grade in small group time where they will hear a Bible story and do activities together. Parents pick kids up from their small group classroom.
Keeping your kids safe is our top priority. Know that all Pathfinder Kids small group leaders and other volunteers have gone through a background check, been trained in child safety procedures, and have a deep love and devotion to both God and kids. We also ask that all parents/guardians stay onsite at Resurrection while their child attends Pathfinder Kids on Sunday mornings.
Lastly, we request that families also adhere to our wellness policy and stay home when exposed to someone sick or feeling any symptoms of sickness themselves. View our Wellness Policy.

Family Ministry

Pathfinder Kids knows that the primary place faith is built for children is with their family in the home. Our goal is to partner with families so that they are equipped to continue the conversations started in Pathfinder Kids at home during the week. Just think of the impact it will have on kids if they are hearing the same message reinforced at home that they hear at church on Sunday.
With that in mind, we ask families who register for Pathfinder Kids to make a commitment to participating in their child’s spiritual growth by reading the Bible at home, praying with their children, and helping them complete take home activities they receive.
We encourage parents/guardians to volunteer each trimester (fall/winter/spring) in our children program or in another area at Resurrection.
