Student Leadership

 Student Leadership is for 10th -12th Grade students who are interested in developing their leadership skills and who want to take ownership in helping to make the middle and high school ministries at RLC a huge success.  Through regular training meetings and retreats, student will learn what it means to be a leader, be empowered and equipped to lead within our youth ministry, and cultivate skills and qualities that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.  At RLC, we believe that students are not merely the leaders of the church tomorrow, but God’s plan in building His kingdom includes utilizing students who are serious about developing their leadership skills and who are ready to assume real leadership roles.  Student leadership values students.  It recognizes that they too have gifts, talents and abilities to offer.     

You have a unique opportunity to play a key role in the success of our Youth Ministry.  As a member of the Student Leadership team you will help our ministry grow and change.  In addition, you may help plan and implement a number of different events.  Above all, you will grow deeper in your relationship with Christ and will be equipped with leadership skills that will help you lead not only in the context of our youth ministry but in all other areas of your life as well.  This will not be an easy task.  It will require your time, your heart and your commitment.
